This shot was taken after hiking down the cliffs here at Lunada Bay in Palos Verdes, CA. What is left of the ship wreck of the SS Dominator that ran ashore in 1961 is just around the point in this image. This well known surfing area has a just as well know violent history against surfing visitors.
